Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was clean and had everything I needed, but the bathroom was extremely small. On the bright side, the hotel is located right on the Main Street with a lovely view, making it convenient for exploring the station and the old town.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a bit disappointing, not matching the advertised online images for standard rooms, yet the remodeled superior rooms were fantastic with a spacious bath and comfy bed. The service was exceptional, with staff going out of their way to assist. The location was ideal for exploring the old city, but the dining options were somewhat lacking.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a good selection at breakfast, including fresh bakery products and cereals. It was nice to have the option to use the TV room as a lounge if my room felt a bit crowded. On the downside, I found an expired juice bottle in the minibar, but the reception handled it well. The service was phenomenal, with fruit and complimentary mulled wine available in the reception area. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the old town center, near the hauptbahnhof and steps away from the ubahn station, making it easy to explore the city. I enjoyed the Christmas markets right by the hotel, but one front desk woman made me feel like an inconvenience. The dining experience was quite good with a variety of freshly prepared food, although the sausages could be improved. The facilities were well-maintained, and the price was reasonable for the value provided. Overall, a stay here is a nice option for exploring the historic area.
